'Charlie Cloudhead' is a short film about a man who bottles up his problems into a cloud that hovers permanently above his head. A tense birthday dinner with his wife finally forces him to confront his issues - with spectacular and heartbreaking results.

'Charlie Cloudhead' is Rupert's dramatic directorial debut. He is an established commercials director creating spots for clients such as Adidas, Samsung, Jaguar, Fox Searchlight and Bentley. With a background in motion design, Rupert has also created visuals for Daft Punk's last album launch and the title design for Brian Helgeland's recent feature 'Legend'.

Production Notes:

'Charlie Cloudhead' was produced by MPC Creative and filmed in London over three days in September 2015. The main restaurant scene was shot on a purpose built set at Cloud & Horse studio in North London, the majority of the other scenes were filmed in MPC's offices in London's Soho.

The film was completed at the beginning of October and screened in London as a finalist of the Homespun Yarns competition. It has since been entered into the festival circuit, and was immediately selected to be screened again in November at WSFF in Winchester, UK.

A general release date for the film is still to be confirmed.
